MathWe were about to start our unit on fractions! This is a great time to start practicing measuring with your child. You can cook, build things, let them practice breaking things into equal pieces.
Your child can practice our math activities using the websites Zearn and Matific with the links below. We will also work on math fact fluency this year. xtramath.com is a great resource to practice facts. Khan Academy is a website that provides videos and practice for our math curriculum. It is free to join or use as a guest. We are in module 1 right now!

Social StudiesWe will begin the year by reviewing map skills, directions, and landforms!
Students can use our studies weekly accounts to read our science and social studies newspapers, play games, and work on their comprehension skills. |
